Meet the masterminds behind the magic

Lyndsey

Hey, Hi, Hello! Lyndsey here!

A little bit about me: I am a Colorado kid through and through. I grew up in Southeast Denver, went to college in Fort Collins (go CSU), moved to the mountains to become a ski bum, and then grew some roots back in Denver, which is where I currently reside. Needless to say, I haven’t found a reason to leave.

My passions include skiing/snowboard (life goal is ski on every continent), traveling (I want to go to visit every country), eating really good food (Bourdain style), playing board games, enjoying and caring for Mother Nature, and spending lots of time with friends and family.

I am one of those people that has their hands in many pots if you will, and mostly entrepreneurial pots at that. When I started my photography business, I had a full time job as an event/venue manager, so stepping into the wedding business for me was easy because I understood all the organizational madness that is important for pursing that type of photography. What I didn’t see a lot of (or any of really) were people or businesses prioritizing “sustainability”. Being a passionate photographer, it was a must for me to be as eco-minded as possible, and I wanted to work and connect with others that share similar values. Queue Maréa!

“She is a first class photographer and I would recommend her

to anyone and everyone. “

Hey there! I’m Marea. Avid adventurer, rock climber, swing dancer, gardener, traveler, community-builder, tree-hugger, and wedding planner. I started Dream Catcher Weddings over 4 years ago with the goal of designing weddings in a way that honors the uniqueness of each couple and the gifts of our planet.

I’m passionate about pioneering a more sustainable future for the wedding industry, and I know that a goal that big can only be achieved in community. That’s why I teamed up with Lyndsey to create Wildflower West Collective. I want to offer our couples a fresh alternative to the long and outdated tradition of wedding planning being expensive, wasteful, and stressful AF. I hope that we can partner with you to craft a new kind of wedding that is deeply meaningful to you and your partner, easy to plan, easy on your wallet, and kind to mama earth. Can I get a hell yeah?!

“The quality of their work honestly deserves the highest praises.”

We Love the earth.

Wildflower West Collective was founded on the belief that weddings don’t have to be stressful, expensive, or cause harm to the planet. We believe in doing everything within our power to minimize each wedding’s impact on the earth and make our events as close to zero-waste as possible. We are always brainstorming and coming up with new ways to better live up to these values!

What does this mean for your elopement?

  • All vendors will track the miles traveled to your elopement and purchase carbon credits to offset their emissions from traveling.
  • We steer clear of single use plastic and other wasteful items that can’t be reused, repurposed, or recycled.
  • Your invitations will be printed on recycled paper and purchased from a company that plants a tree with every purchase.
  • We practice Leave No Trace principles wherever we go.
  • We regularly donate to non-profits that align with our values of social and environmental sustainability.
